Dear Tooth Fairy....

I was making Taylor's bed the other morning and under her pillow I found a picture of a fairy that she had colored and cut out. On the bottom of the picture she has written "Letter on Back". I flipped it over and it read, "Dear Tooth Fairy, Can I borrow your wand? At first, I panicked and thought she had lost a tooth and didn't tell me, but that couldn't be the case because she already has all of her permanent teeth. So, I just laughed and put it in with her other amusing pics that she has drawn for me. NEXT, I went in to make Syd's bed and low and behold there is a letter under her pillow..."Dear Tooth Fairy, Can I borrow your wand? Love, Sydney"
I called Sheldon to have a good laugh with him and he asked an important question, "What do you suppose they want to do with her wand?" :) Please note the new addition to my daughter's stick figures. Her stick figures now have bosoms. :) Sheldon is so outnumbered

Syd's Graduation

Syd is FINALLY going to kindergarten! Even though she has been so anxious to go to the "big school" with Taylor, she loved her preschool teacher this year. She started Sydney reading and has been amazing. Sydney's solo part in her graduation was memorizing Little Boy Blue and spelling her name in sign language for the parents. I thought she would chicken out, but she made her mama proud.

Larry King Live

Let's be honest..this blog template is horrible. It reminds me of the board on Larry King Live. I'm only missing a pic of me with suspenders. Please help me with some websites with prettier blog templates.

Aunt Susie and Uncle Skittles house

For our family vacation, my kids did not choose Disneyland or the beach. They wanted to go visit Aunt Susie and Uncle Skittles.(Sydney could not say Niels when she first met him and decided that it sounded like her favorite candy Skittles) Here are some pics from our wild adventures.

Yesterday while having her 5yr. old check-up, Dr. Lepore asked Sydney where she got her
beautiful blue eyes. Her response......"Jesus." He chuckled a little bit and then asked her
who else had blue eyes sitting in the room that could have given them to her. She corrected him and said, "Moms don't give us blue eyes, JESUS does!!" Needless to say, he moved on to a different question. It's good to know that she pays attention at church!

Taylor's Pajama-Rama

On Friday I envited eleven people over. Me and my friends watched Ella Enchanted. We made our own pizzas with cookies. When we watched the movie we ate popcorn. Then we played a while. It was wild. --Taylor

Sheldon and Jen sitting in a tree...

Yesterday morning Sheldon surprised me with breakfast in bed. He had taken the girls on a date night last week to the Creative Pottery shop to paint ceramics and he made me this one of a kind mug for my hot chocolate. Accompanying my beautiful mug was something almost as beautiful......a heart shaped Krispy Kreme donut. My man knows what I like! :)

Welcome, I have no idea what I am doing!

I have looked at several "fancy" blogs and felt some pressure to "bring it " when joining this whole blog revolution.....and then I realized that my friends and family all know that "fancy" and "creative" have never been used in the same sentence as my name. I am starting this blog mainly to let my 7 yr. old daughter, Taylor, share her thoughts and perspective on our daily happenings in the Orme household (yes, I might regret this). We'll see how this goes....if anything, it might inspire me to take more pictures of my girls!
